Denonavr component and newest range of Denon receivers

Hi there,

Happy as a kid when I finally replaced my trusty Denon AVR-1912 with a Denon AVR-X2400H. Before I bought it I checked the specs, it has IP control and RS232. Since purely looking at specs showed more options for networking I trusted the fact that the previous component would work, and ordered. Not so happy now.

Turns out since the AVR-X1400/X2400/and others in the newest series, Denon decided to remove the web interface, and thus removed http control. Getting a 403, although I’m running IP control in always on mode. This sucks big time. Great receiver, but not having it in Hass makes me very sad. (both denon and denonavr not working).

Is there anything the component maintainer can do? :pray:

Ok, just tested telnet. Works flawlessly, so the denon component should’ve worked I guess.
Might need some updates though if I look at the control manual:

I am also thinking to buy this the x1400, is it now workin’ in HA as it’s not quoted on the integrations site :frowning:

Did you end up getting it? Does it work?

I have the AVR-X1600H and controlling it with the built-in HEOS integration. Works fine for my simple requirements.
