I am running HA Core on a HP T620 mini Pc and since the desaster with upgrading the HA OS from 12.1 to 12.3 I am afraid to try out another OS update. My HP T620 has a backlevel BIOS. I am now on OS 12.1 and core 2024.12.5, because I didn’t find any explicit messages that this error is fixed. I do not want to crash my system again. Because I have no knowledge about Linux, I am not able to use the solution to copy EFI BIOS file to some partition.
Are there known dependencies between the OS version and the Core version which will force me to update the OS if I want to update the core?

Isn’t the Core just dependent on a functioning python installation? You are creating a vent and the rest is done by pip?..
