Derivative sensors — no more average over time option?

I swear that last week, Derivative Sensors had an option to make the value a rolling average over time. But… now it doesn’t seem to?

Am I crazy?

There is also a major problem with derivative - it does not become zero when a sensor is not changing.

OMG, yes. This explains why “derivative” sensors don’t look like derivatives at all, but rather inconsistently-scaled versions of the original.

This bug seems to be rather old.
Wanted to create my own derivative sensor (some template sensor), cannot manage to begin…
