I know how to script but I am not really a software developer with tons of knowledge of IDE's, external dependencies in them etc. I have worked with IDE's before though. I am working on a project which I was creating in Node Red but thought it might be nice to create a Python based integration, to have good UI integration for usability and to gain some experience. I started reading the documentation and have gotten to the Devcontainer setup. However, I love open source. So I use VSCodium. In which the MS devcontainer is not available as it is proprietary. I have found some alternatives but only 1 review. And I'm not sure what problems that might give me. As I am learning I want to avoid trying to get something to work that is throwing tens of errors already at the beginning of the process. So I was wondering, anyone here developing in VSCodium that knows a good alternative to the proprietary VS Code devcontainer plugin? Search engines gave back nothing.
Nobody is using VSCodium for integration development I guess?
