Device Aliases in Alexa configuration

Been searching the forums, but have not found a definitive answer. Is there a way to give a single device in Home Assistant several aliases in Alexa? For example, we have a lamp in the living room that I call the living room lamp, but the wife likes to call it the octopus lamp (because of how it looks). It would be nice to be able to call things by multiple names if possible.

The way i am getting around this at the moment is by creating groups inside the Alexa app for those devices, but it would be nice to control everything through the configuration in Home Assistant.

You can create a group inside home assistant and just put specific light there?

Original name: living room light
Group name: octopus light

In the latest version of HA (2023.1.1), there is also the option for Aliases in the entities settings → Advanced settings. There’s no documentation for this apparently and it does not seem to be working (for me). Maybe an incomplete feature.

it is mainly targeted for upcoming voice recognition. Maybe in the future, could be integrated to Alexa (my bad, it seems to be integrated to Google)
