Device location tracking: relative positioning / Know how far is a device from another one?

Hi there,

i’m trying to figure out how I could tell if my car (GPS tracked with an old phone) is still close to me (GPS tracked with my current phone). I wonder if someone already achieved something similar.

Is there a way to define a “floating” zone with my phone’s GPS data so I could check if my car is withing that zone? Latitude/longitude maths, maybe? Could Proximity achieve something like this?

Any clue/advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :slight_smile:

No problem, my knowledge isn’t at an expert level, I just happened to read that page sometime between (now) and (now-my short term memory span)
