After discovering device_sun_light_trigger I found out that it’s a great feature. It’s everything I need for my lights at home, but I’d wish that there was option to use an offset to power on the lights.
The lights start to fade in 15 minutes before sunset, but it’s already dark inside at this moment. If I could make the lights fade in 20 minutes earlier, it would be perfect.
Thanks, but the whole point about the Device_sun_light_trigger component (https://home-assistant.io/components/device_sun_light_trigger/), is that you don’t need to create your own triggers to automate these things, but it’s not possible to specify an offset when using device_sun_light_trigger as far as I know.
I see. I don’t think many people are using this component but I agree it would be a nice feature if an offset could be added.
