Device_tracker and mobile_app

To be honest i do not know how to 100% clean it.

The minute I reinstalled the app on my phone I started getting these warnings. Does this make sense to you? Also, weirdly enough, having erased data AND uninstalled the app, once it was installed again it remembered all the settings, including HA urls and login credential. How is this even possible?

Mobile_app device tracker on Android 7.0 is returning malformed data - it switches lat and lon in location

Yes, Ariela.tries to update sensors which are not present anymore.in HA. Just use the force mobile registration from Ariela and issue will dissapear.

What Ariela version you are using?

I’m about to give up No matter what settings I try, app uninstalls, cache cleaning, I can’t get the tracker working It reports online at hassio restart but from then on - nada. I also started getting a bunch of those, clearly related to Ariela activity.

Can you send me the logs of Ariela? Also when SSL Ha error appeared what Ariela was doing?

Are there instructions beyond the official docs for using the device tracker? I’m a new user (for Ariela, not HA) and really like how much functionality there is. I’m struggling to get the device tracker stable though.

Steps taken:

Installed the app
flipped on settings switches for device tracker and the mobile app tracker
nothing happened in HA

flipped off mobile app tracker and switched to See service
device tracker was then created and intermittently updates. I’ve turned on the ‘start as background service, run in the background’ – those kinds of settings. I also shutoff adaptive battery and battery optimization for the app. I seem to only get updates when I wake up my phone. I tried restarting my phone with no improvement.

I’ve also enabled MQTT sensors and I’ve been monitoring the availability sensor. It seems to be about 1 minute out from my laptop time (which seems acceptable) so I think the app is connecting fine. I have auto reconnect turned on.

Can you share the Ariela logs so i can check it out? Also can you confirm you see a Ariela notification all the time?

I turned on debugging for a few minutes and emailed the log file to you. During the time of the logs my location wasn’t getting updated in HA. I had the See device tracker turned on.

I haven’t noticed any problems with the persistent notifications. It appears to be very persistent!
