Hello everyone, I recently installed the Home Assistant docker on a raspberry pi 4 and it’s been great so far except for some minor bugs. I have an De-Googled Android Device without any Google Services (I use MicroG as a replacement) and I have installed the Home Assistant application. However, HA is showing my device with a state of “unknown”. I have already allowed location sharing on the app and I have also tried with another Android device with Google Services installed and it was working perfectly. Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue?
You need google services for the companion app device tracking. There are other 3rd party trackers that should work.
