unifi as a device_tracker is generally working well, except for one person who has an iphone which is constantly disconnecting from the network when it goes into sleep mode.
is there a way to change the consider_home value for this device without adversely affecting the device_tracker’s usefulness for every other device?

Nope. It’s all or nothing.
For what it’s worth, my whole family has iphones, none of them have this issue.
what do you have consider_home set to? the documentation for it specifically mentions iphones

I know I am late to the party, but I have a related question - @petro Do you know if there is a way to set/change consider_home using an automation? Or once you set it in the config, that is where it always stays?
I don’t believe so. From what I can tell, there is no service that allows you to change this value.
