Device tracker unable to see devices connected to 2.4ghz help

hi guys,

im pulling out my hair over this one and would really appreciate some help.

i’ve recently moved house and signed up to a new provider that supplied me with a router by ZTE (ZXHN H298A V1.0) it runs both 2.4ghz and 5ghz. i noticed ZTE isn’t supported by HA so i added nmap as a tracker.

my problem is i cant track any device connected to the 2.4ghz band, does anyone know why?

also im not able to detect my harmony hub which only supports 2.4ghz.

its driving me insane

There is possibly a setting on your router that treats the two different WiFi bands as two separate networks and the setting controls whether they are bridged.

The only thing I can see regarding them is they have different Wi-Fi names.

The router doesn’t give me many options
