Hello,
I was wondering if there is any comprehensive and up-to-date list of media_player devices that natively support announce feature without interrupting background music for announcements.
I have Sonos and Google Nest Mini devices. The Sonos ones do support it, but I have not found any reliable workaround for Minis. I am aware of Google Assistant SDK, but that one is no solution, because of IPv6 incompatibility and thus produces no announcements.
Does anybody know which devices support it correctly?
