Got a strange issue…
My ESPHome devices are also displaying under my Develo Home Network integration as if the are part of that integration as well ??
If I view a device it displays its part of both integrations.
All seems to be working fine for both integrations/devices but wondered if this means I’ve some sort of problem/corruption somewhere.
I’m not familiar with the Devolo integration, but it sounds like it’s for your router? Is that device you’re viewing an ESPHome device? If all of that’s true, then it would make sense that they would both show up. When you view a device, HA will show all of the entities (regardless of integration) on the same page. It will then also show all integrations that are providing entities for the device.
That is not an error. It means that the device is recognized by esphome and by devolo home network.
By the look of the docs, it is probably seeing your device is on the network and home.
Binary sensors
- Device attached to the router
- Updates every 5 minutes
- Is disabled by default because it typically rarely changes
Presence detection
- Detect presence of devices connected to the main or the guest Wi-Fi
- Updates every 15 seconds
- Automatically adds new devices as disabled entities unless disabled via system option
