Hi - anyone ever flash this device? The chip inside is 9 pins a side (18 total) with an wire for an external antenna. Otherwise I have no indications what kind of chip so hard to tell how to flash this with firmware.

As you can tell by searching, no one has mentioned those devices on this forum.
Can you post some info. A picture?
Did some more research and under the covers is an Eco Plus from Kab Enterprises. Once I figured that out there were a few hints how to flash. My problem was I tried to solder wires onto the esp chip and I shorted the Vcc. So the device is toast. I saw some people make jigs to flash commercial devices and that would have been better choice.
I’m gonna just use a Shelly 1 connected to the relays I harvested. I was hoping to reuse the nice neat box for 80 bucks. But lesson learned - gotta be super careful soldering around an existing board.
I was successfully able to flash my Dewenwils switch with Both ESPHome and Tasmota. I just created a write up on ESPHome seen here and also the Tasomta flash from here worked perfectly as well. I will be creating a couple other write ups on ESPHome for other branded ECO-Plugs later this week.
Could you share the pinout, the chip on the esphome doc from [ryansmigley],doesn’t ressemble this one… I’d like avoiding bricking it!
