Did regular/legacy HA get officially squashed with 0.93...?

hope we are wrong and missing the obvious solution, but it appears that with the update to 0.93, we suddenly no longer are allowed to use extra-html-url extensions in frontend.
Consequence is that heavily used cards like custom-ui and Tiles are no longer loaded and much of the interface, that has been worked on for over the last couple of years got squashed in 1 strike.

see: https://github.com/andrey-git/home-assistant-custom-ui/issues/172

related to this breaking change: https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant/pull/23618

no warning, not transition, only broken setups…this can’t be happening… So hope we are wrong and a simple instruction was forgotten how to keep those valued instances alive…
Did anyone find that yet?

@balloob commented about it here.

0.93: Essent, AmbiClimate, VS Code debugging

thanks for that pointer, missed it.

posted a few questions to HA founder, which I hope will get a positive answer :wink:

easily missed.

I’m still using the older Polymer based UI without issue, however I’m not using any custom additions or addons for the UI, only a theme.
