I am new to HA, i am blind and using Jaws and NVDA screenreader to navigate in HA environment, i have problems in activate the right menu at the front page, for instance if i want to activate Settings it is very difficult to find it, can someone tell me what i can do as a screenreader user to better navigate in the menues?
Making HA more WCAG compliant gets my vote, wish I could give more. Don’t forget to vote yourself.
Its really frustrating
As much as I appreciate the solution tag (thanks) you should remove it, or it seems the request was implemented.
I think home automation can be a great tool to make the life of people with disabilities easier, so definitely my vote for improving HA to make it easier to work with.
Regarding navigating the menu to the Setting page. On my system I press S + enter to get to the Settings page when the menu is “in focus”
