I had the ozw addon running on the HA vm. same counts for the mqtt broker.
In your detailed manual (really great website) you setup the mqtt broker on the host machine… Is this the pi where the docker installation also is for the Deconz and the OZW deamon?
Or can I use the addon MQTT broker in HA? (and how would this impact the config?)
No, I setup the MQTT broker on the machine that runs Home Assistant. In the end of the day it doesn’t matter where you install the MQTT broker, you just need to connect HA to this broker and OZWDaemok to the same broker.
OK, but tn that case I don’t understand the ‘docker’ part in your mqqt manual…
