wondering what people have out there for a Dimmer + LED bulb combination that doesn’t buzz.
I have FUBAR-ed myself by purchasing a bunch of philips bulbs before testing based on internet reviews of philips not buzzing. got my $300 worth of bulbs, swapped out some, turned on a dimmer, and shit. the buzzing was louder than my last “loud” bulbs.
for reference, i got these:
it’s not easy to find 5000k LED’s that are dimmable (I prefer daylight bulbs).
I do realize which dimmer also makes a difference. So far i’ve only tested with the homeseer 200+ dimmer, and the inovelli dimmer. the HS one is super buzzed, but good at 100%. the inovelli buzzes even when at 100%. I also have a zooz dimmer i’ll try in a bit.
Would love to hear if you’ve found a combination that works without the buzz, expecially a 5k bulb.
