When I manually press the zwave dimmer switch on it fades the lights on. It does the same thing when I turn them off on the switch. However, if I use the HA dashboard, turning them up instantly starts at the fullest brightness. Turning them off fades out. Is there anyway to have them fade in instead of just turning on at 100% from the dashboard?

Edit: I do not think Zwave lights support transition, and then it will not work.
OK. I will see about creating a scene and see if that works. If it fades out I cant imagine there isn’t some way to make it fade in. Thanks for replying!
Has anyone tried this lately?
I know on my dimmers (Cooper RF9534) they have two internal settings for rampup. One for the physical switch and one from a zwave controller. I had to set them separately to be the same using zwave.set_config_parameter. The different was the “size” parameter. For mine it was 1 and 2.
