Can I place a Fibaro Dimmer after a normal on/off switch?
They have the same price, so i ask myself why should i spend the same money for a single Fibaro Relai when the dimmer has more function.
Do I oversee something?
Yes, Fibaro dimmers works with HASS, I’ve also several and they work perfect…Before you start, first check the documentation of fibaro
Thanks for the replay, but i was more a question if i should buy a dimmer or a switch. though now i understand that the dimmer are primary for light and the relay are for normal powerfuse.
On electrical use, a relais is used for 0 and 1, so only 2 states… A dimmer can change values, and have multiple states…
