Hello, I have been working on this issue for a couple of days at this point and figured I should seek some extra help. I am running version .52.1 of HA on a raspberry Pi3 (hassbian install). I am comfortable with linux command line but still figuring out HA. I recently installed a Zwave dimmer light switch. The switch appeared in the UI as expected with the on/off switch. Selecting the device let me use the brightness slider. I was trying to follow this document: https://github.com/andrey-git/home-assistant-custom-ui#installing to add the brightness bar to the state card. I used the update script to put the 4 files in their respective places and added:
customizer:
panel: true
hide_customui_attributes: false
hide_attributes:
- node_id
- value_index
To the configuration.yaml file. I added this to my customize.yaml file:
light.basement_dimmer_level:
custom_ui_state_card: state-card-custom-ui
state_card_mode: break-slider-toggle
stretch_slider: true
extra_data_template: ${attributes.power_consumption !== 0 ? (attributes.power_consumption + ‘W’) : null}
hide_control: false
show_last_changed: false
theme: happy
confirm_controls_show_lock: false
slider_theme:
min: 10
max: 200
pin: true
off_when_min: false
report_when_not_changed: false
And after restarting HA the Light state card is still there but no device, just a blank card. I have tried different browsers on different machines, clearing cache in the browser on the machine I had been testing/working from. I have tried different setting on the customize file but can’t see to get this working. Is there something I need to do with that Custom UI panel for this device?
