Dimming automation

Hello! First post and I hope I don’t get flamed! Here goes:

I have spent endless hours researching and fiddling, and I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to get lights that gradually change to orange and dim a bit at a certain time, and the opposite in the morning.

Been using Adaptive Lighting, tried using automations, and it’s a complete nightmare.

Situation is about 25-30 lights throughout the house all controlled with Alibaba buttons (which works fine when not using AL). Isn’t this a super common task?

Thanks in advance,

Tom

Adaptive Lighting should do what you want. Rather than

Actually tell us in detail what is going wrong / what you can not do that you want to and someone that uses AL might be able to help you. I don’t use it so it won’t be me.

Thanks, I guess my question is, is Adaptive Lighting the way everybody navigates this task? Or is there something easier?
I’m sure I could spend another 15-20 hours to get AL working, but I wish I didn’t have to.

Sorry, I think I’m simply running into the Sengled bulb problems many have reported in the past. I’m going to replace those and see if that does it.
