This is what I see when using dimmable lights :
- These lights are using a kind of standard way to dim :
switch on, switch on again and they start to dim up and down, switch on again, it stops and remembers the dim state. Switch off and on then gets you alway back the last dim state.
That is fine and HA does the nicely. - Using the brightness slider works fine, too. The light reacts immediately and remembers it.
Just the slider does not remember the state.
Use then on/off puts the slider always to the end, but the light does what I expect ( comes back in the last dim state ); the slider is in the wrong position then.
- Can the slider be removed from the UI in cases where there is nothing to dim ?
