Dimplex have launched a new range of their q rad range of electric heaters. These new ones have a wifi module and can be controlled through a hub which you need to buy seperately.
Has anyone looked at these to integrate with home assistatn as we are looking at buying them for our all electric house.
I want a centrally controlled way to maintain the home heaters and these seem ideal, but would love to control them with home assistant.
Strangely there isnt any information on the dimplex website, but a retailer ive been watching has them in stock now along with the hub, there is also an app to control the heaters.
You can also control an quantum electric water heater as well through the app if you have one of them installed
Unfortunately no, and Dimplex werent any help.
I ended up installing Mill wifi panel heaters and I have them showing in home assistant, adax neo also work but i preferred the mill ones.
Sorry to revive an old thread but did anyone manage to make any progress with this? Have Q-Rads and a Dimplex Heat Pump so would be really keen to get them integrated and happy to do some dev work on it if needed
We also have Dimplex Quantum storage heaters in the UK using the Dimplex Control system and app, but would love to get this integrated into Home Assistant
Hi
I have a Dimplex too. Any NEWS?
I recently found out that u can integrate Dimplex control to home assistant via KNX. That doesn’t do for me. For the price of they IP hardware I could replace my heaters. If anyone have any NEWS please soout out
Thx x
I’ve asked them about api support via their website. I doubt they will reply but it can’t hurt to keep asking
I assume we will need to work out how they are talking to the hub.
