Hi!
Is there a way to exclude certain devices from discovery?
I don’t know what happens exactly, but since the Apple TV is auto-discovered, my sat receiver often goes to standby mode, as it seems especially when I restart home assistant. Probably some mess with CEC. I don’t need Apple TV (or the nexus) to be controlled bei hass anyway.

Have you seen this? Might be some helpful info in there.
True. I like having things sandboxed, so devices get discovered and at least get listed so that you can decide what to do later. Better yet, you can have a default behavior (i.e. list and do nothing, or list and add the new device), then you can choose to use or hide new devices as they come in.
The Bluetooth tracking is a decent model. My best example is a neighbor’s ipad showed up one day when she parked on the street and walked by the house. I set it to not track later. But I could see…

No, not yet, thank you. But that’s not in the official release yet, is it? Well, I guess I can wait.

For the Apple TV, you can also do it like this:
home-assistant:dev
← postlund:atv_power

And still have it in your config. In the next release of course.
