Disabling backlight on Tuya TS0003 / TS0003_switch_3_gang

Hi there,

I’ve recently purchased a switch (thankfully only the one at this stage), thinking it was the following:

The device has paired fine via Zigbee2MQTT, but it appears I’ve actually purchased the following:

This is super frustrating as the difference between the two appears to be power off behaviour and backlight - the two reasons I elected to try the switch.

I am hoping that someone may be aware of a workaround to disable the backlights. The switch is intended for use in bedroom; I will not get the thumbs up from the other half if there is a light coming from our switches overnight.

Hey, did you get the backlight working? I’m in the same scenario.
If I pair the same Switch device on Tuya, I have the backlight option exposed to HA.

Did you guys manage to find the solution, I have Ikuu Tuya rebranded light switches and even with ZHA option of back light off, it’s not working
