Disabling Ingress?

I am running hass.io add-on motioneye for quite a few camera’s. I used to be able to use the cameras outside of hass.io but recently this stopped working (probably due to Ingress). As I also need to make the cameras and motioneye available outside of homeassistant I would like to disable ingress fully.

The problem is now: how can I disable Ingress fully?

I don’t have the motionEye add-on, but the same principle applies to any Ingress-capable add-on. In the Network section, replace the “disabled” host with a valid port number, and you can use that port number again instead of Ingress. Example below is from the Configurator add-on:

Thanks, that did the trick (partially). I now can access the UI, but the camera feeds all are missing…

EDIT: after switching the camera devices to on in the UI it is all working again  -

What if the user indeed wants to disable ingress for some reason? The solution proposed above does not disables it, only allows the user to use the port directly too.

There seems to be a need for that as pointed by @frenck at this comment.

Also, this may be the reason why some add-ons prefer not to add support for HA’s ingress, such as TasmoAdmin.
