My machine works without encryption.
Since the app stopped working for me, I can’t find out the command to pause and continue after the “night pressing” option. Does the app work for you?

Hi, I ran into this issue last year, it actually broke my EXISTING working machine for a while.
Luckily it came back online for me at some point, and as soon as it did I firewalled it from having internet access at all.
I now use mine entirely with the local API, using a combination of methods others have described above.
Using yaml to get sensors for status sensors. And a fixed command which I encrypt and send to the machine to make it run each night from a separate Pi, using a webhook command from Home Assistant.
Hope this helps you get a direction to get it working without having to rip out the ESP. But if you do end up doing that I’d also be interested to see if you manage to make something better ![]()
