Display GPX track (from smartwatch) on the map (Feature request)

My use case:

  • I have an amazfit bip smartwatch and i use it with the Gadgetbridge app on Android
  • Gadgetbridge can export an activity as GPX track
  • I was looking into sending the GPX track from the android app to Homeassistant via mqtt, and display this track on the map

I think this would be a nice first step in supporting smartwatches. Or there is any way to receive and display a GPX track on Homeassistant?

  • Gadgetbridge supports many other devices (like pebble, cor, mi band…).

Hi

Did you find out a solution to do that not with Gadgetbridge straight that I use also but with OpenTracks that I use to track my exerciseswalks !

Thanks
