Display graph of attribute data produced from statistics sensor?

Hi All,

I have built a wind speed sensor and used the statistics sensor to generate a 5 min average, I also want to be able to display the peak wind speed recorded(each sample size is 10 seconds) I can see the value in the stats extended information on the Lovelace card. do i really need to build a separate template sensor to show this ?
