Display link in Lovelace dashboard

Hi Guys,

Not sure if this is the right section of the forum but its the closest I could find.

I needed some help in regards to displaying a link in the dashboard but not sure if this type can be done. I can see how I would display a simple link but this looks a little more complex and beyond my technical capabilities.

I wanted to display my upcoming refuse pickup dates in a window on the dash board but the problem lies with the fact that in order to get to the information page you need to put in your post code and then choose your address from a list…can this be scripted to appear with just the result page I need to show?

The link

You then need to type in an example post code DA1 2TY and then choose an address and it will display the result.

Can this be done in HA?

Once you find the end result you can look in the address bar and just use that as the browser link.

I put in some information and this is the link address at the top that I can go to from any browers and get the same info:

https://windmz.dartford.gov.uk/ufs/WS_CHECK_COLLECTIONS.eb?ebd=0&ebp=10&ebz=1_1617327722992

then just put that wherever you want it. I would use an iframe card if you want to display the link contents instead of just the link itself.

That doesn’t work.
The link is not generated based on your selections.

That’s strange.

It worked on three browsers before I posted it here just to make sure it worked.

But now it doesn’t seem to.

nevermind

I would probably mail them and ask if you could get the API link.
Or if they have any other suggestions.
That would be my first step.

Would have been much easier with an end link, but this is obviously querying some database.

Ok, will email them, may get somewhere with that. Thanks for the suggestions.
