I have a routine that calls script that gets the current pool temperature using a template. Alexas says: The pool temperature is X degrees. I am wondering if there is a way I can show (text) “The pool is at X degrees” Is that possible with HA?
Just came across this looking for the answer to a slightly different question. It’s been a long time, but in case it’s still relevant: the notify component of alexa_media can do this with the announce mode method parameter. It has to speak it, too, but it can get the text on there:
