DIY or Bust? Seeking Reliable Battery-Powered Cabinet Locks for HA Control

I need multiple drawer/cabinet locks, and I’m at the point where building my own might be the only option. Before I go that route, I wanted to check if anyone here knows of a solution I might have missed. Here’s what I’m looking for:

  • Battery-powered
  • Hidden installation
  • Local control with Home Assistant (for unlocking/locking)

I’ve tried the following devices, but either the connections have been unreliable, or I couldn’t get the Bluetooth characteristics or encryption keys needed to control the lock:

  • Yale Cabinet Lock - ‎YRCB-490-BLE-WSP
  • Tuya BLE - HDY
  • TTLock - SN9291-RG

Any recommendations or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I don’t have these, but maybe they work in combination with an ESP?

ESP rules out battery powered.
