DIY Zigbee

Just had this come up in my feed and thought it may be of interest to folks wanting to DIY certain devices in their setup.

Didn’t exactly explain how to start from scratch though.
I’m more curious if you can add additional features to the switch like multipress, relay detach or if binding is supported

I did it with crappy things (not crappy but it was a fight to have it with actions in Z2m) on ESP32-C6. Now works like a charm.

I have firmware with:

DS18B20 sensor
DHT21 sensor
onOff light or wharever
Multistateinput for single / double or whatever
Multistateoutput to have for example fan control off/low/mid/high or whatever

And the converter for Z2M.

Was a nightmare to have the correct value from the correct endpoint but now is stable.

Is in playground mode, going to cleanup code.

PS: Added terminal to be able to control ESP32 from terminal also
PPS: Did it with tasks to have more control on things since for playground using arduino ESP32 port for ease of testing.

It rocks now

Nice, do you mind sharing what your config files or your github?
Just ordered some esp32c6 so I’m eager to try it out

Is this basically multipress? Can you enable or disable relay decoupling like on the aqara switches. Or do you just have the button work like scene switches and use z2m to toggle relay

Is this linked to multistateinput? Like single for low, double for mid. Still not quite familiar with binding yet

Hello sorry did not saw message. Email me at [email protected] pls
