DNS and Mosquito broker logging

Hi,

I’m seeing these DNS messages, repeatedly, in my DNS log:

[INFO] 172.30.32.1:33824 - 43264 “A IN wlp0s20f3.local.hass.io. udp 41 false 512” NXDOMAIN qr,aa,rd 41 0.000073748s

But can’t really figure out what it means and if I should do something about it.

I’m using my modem/router from the isp as gateway and dns. Ha is in the same network.

I do think it’s related to the mosquito broker as the log Keeps repeating:

2023-11-26 11:20:35: New connection from 172.30.32.2:34870 on port 1883.
2023-11-26 11:20:35: Client closed its connection.

Long story short: do I need to fix something and what should I do?

It is the supervisor watchdog. Nothing to be concerned about.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the clarification, is there some information I could read on? Sometimes I see things in the log and try to figure them out, just for learning purposes.

No I don’t believe it is documented anywhere.
