Hi all
completely new to home assistant. Hope you can help.

I can get to the Pi via http://192.168.1.108:8123

I got the initial startup and can interact

However, I can’t get to HTTP://homeassistant:8123

I get the error - DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

it should be http://homeassistant.local:8123, but if that does not work too, it is because mDNS is not working (correctly) on your network.

Thanks Francis but I don’t know what mDNS is or how I would start or fix it.

I’ve tried the.local on http with the same error.
