DNS Server Add-On

I am searching for a DNS Server Add-On that runs a local DNS Server in Home Assistant which makes it possible to edit local DNS entries like

bulb_kitchen.local 10.0.0.100
printer_office.local 10.0.0.101

The local DNS should be set as local DNS in my Fritzbox.

# Home Assistant Add-on: Dnsmasq

## Installation

Follow these steps to get the add-on installed on your system:

1. Navigate in your Home Assistant frontend to **Settings** -> **Add-ons** -> **Add-on store**.
2. Find the "Dnsmasq" add-on and click it.
3. Click on the "INSTALL" button.

I have Home Assistant OS 12.0 and Installed Dnsmasq add-on version 1.6.0. -

Started the addon
mad entries in the hosts section in the configuration of the add-on.
restarted the add-on
additionally, I have set the home assistant as primary DNS sever for the other workstations.
The problem: It seems to start without any error message but it does not resolve hosts when trying to ping them from other workstations.

Is there anyone who got this thing running on the latest home assistant OS?

Seems not to work

A small note: I have found virtually no tutorials on YouTube for implementing DNSMASQ in Home Assistant. I also find little other information.

The last commit is probably from April 2023.

I have searched in vain for an alternative to DNSMASQ.
