Or has the UI editor deprecated the requirement I guess it storage mode Vs Lovelace
I tried to switch over to lovelace by adding a n entry to my configuration… but all that happened was that I lost the link to the configuration page
All that does is switch Lovelace to using yaml mode.
By default, Lovelace will be either ‘auto-generated’ of if you take control, will use a GUI editor and can also use a raw YAML mode in the raw editor. You can copy/paste the yaml from the raw editor into ui-lovelace.yaml and set the config to yaml mode as well.
Unless you use yaml mode, all stored lovelace configurations are in storage mode.
