Do we still need hassio: in configuration.yaml?

Please dont hurt me, but in the ever lasting cleaning job of the config, I suddenly realize still having

hassio:

in my Home Assistant OS configuration.yaml…
Don’t check the file every day :blush:

do we even need that still, the integration has gone from the integrations list. I am not using the default_config: configuration option, so have all integrations I need explicitly listed…

I don’t have this in my config and everything works fine, but I’m running container xD. hassio: is not part of default_config as far as I know.

All still well after removing hassio: from configuration.yaml? I’m finally getting around to cleaning up my own configuration.yaml?

It seems like this should be documented somewhere, but it’s a hard term to search for.

For anyone else wondering, I’ve removed hassio: rom configuration.yaml with no apparent effect. All working fine for weeks now.
