I contacted company and asked “Do there work with Home Assistant” and I got a reply saying “You can manage those with Google Assistant”, not sure what it means.
They also sell WiFi bulbs but BLE seems good enough for me. I am not familiar with IoT standards and wanted to make sure before buying, do you have any idea?
First, I wouldn’t ask the manufacturer, they likely won’t know or will tell you YES without having a clue.
Second, look for the brand name and model on here, if you don’t find it then it’s iffy that it will work unless it is a major brand that falls under the umbrella of like devices that also work. I don’t buy anything until I come here and look for problems/answers/use examples/etc.
I expected that they know about Home Assistant, since you know, they are in this business and Home Assistant is quite popular, but you are right, thanks.
I don’t think it is likely that I will bump into someone who knows about this brand, since the brand is local in Turkey, and even here, not widely popular. But those bulbs are good and affordable
If you are talking fairly standard protocols like Z-Wave and Zigbee then you are safer than WiFi or BT/BLE because those require knowing about the packets or API and sniffing out how to manipulate it.
BT lights can be a bit difficult to integrate
For the wifi version, that could be a rebadge tuya light so you can just use tuya integration.
Try getting 1 bulb first and do a teardown/test
