Where can i find that dobiss tool
what tool? The p1dobiss tool? You actually pointed to the repo: https://github.com/kesteraernoudt/p1dobiss.
Aha ok Server ip and server token is the one from the nxt right?
No, these are from HA (or dsm reader if you are using that).
ok HA then Will see how to get that?
I just found something, i dont think he needs to change anything, perhaps he can let the energy stuff connected to his dobiss instead of connecting to HA
He can then use this i think
So he will have it in HA too, but keep the P1 datalogger connected to dobiss
you can try indeed - if this device supports multiple clients to be connected, then you have an easier solution!
My brother-in-law didnt try yet, but i think it wont be a problem, as soon as i know, i keep you posted.
He just started with HA, and has lots to do in little spare time
ok, no worries, just wanted to understand if this works
@kester Hi Kester
First of all , i wish you a merry christmas (bit late) but also a happy upcoming new year !
I have a question for you
He has his dobiss connected, and sees all lights, temps, switches and stuff except his 2 garage doors
Any idea, why those dont come through? Anything he can check?
What would help is to add
logger:
logs:
custom_components.dobiss: debug
dobissapi.dobissapi: debug
to the configuration.yaml file - or append this to the existing logger config if that exists already. And then from the home-assistant.log file, send me all the debug info coming from dobiss (there shouldn’t be any passwords or other secret info, but do scan before sending of course). Besides that, also the names of the covers from dobiss would be useful.
Is he running the latest version? I’ve been adding some extra features for covers that came with the latest release of the dobiss NXT server, so if not, it might be worthwhile updating it and testing again…
My friend didnt have time yet, coming back to you as soon as possible
thx already!
Hey i have it, where can i upload it here
Fixed with new version !
I entered the correct API key and used the local IP address in the format “192.168..” as host.
Of course, the API is actived in the NXT configuration
Tried with “dobiss.local” and the full ***.mydobiss.com URL too and same thing.
Still, I get the message “Invalid authentication”
I am using Dobiss v3.10 and Home Assistant Core 2022.6.6 on an Asustor NAS
What can I do to get access ? I am dying to use HA as the Dobiss UI is quite limited in customization.
ok, figured it out, had to turn secure authentication off !
Glad to hear it works now! Let me know if you have any issues!
