Docker compose onboarding not working

Hi,

i tried to move my ha installation completely to docker compose after a pi hardware failure but I’m stuck on the ha container itself. The rest is already running

i used the default example and tried different config options like host networking or different ports/proxy list etc.

Problem: The container boots up, no real error but I am greeted immediately with the login screen.
There is no onboarding ever coming up. I can’t create a user.
If i tried to reset the password, the hass command does not start due to the port is being blocked and the reset password command says the user does not exist.
All other stuff works now, I’m just too stupid to get the HA container running.

Any hints where i can dig for errors?
I went through all the options and now I’m out of ideas. Maybe I’m just blind by now

I tried network_mode: host

Config files are being created in the volume

SOLUTION…

rm -r *

does not delete dot files

ls -a
.  ..  .cache  .cloud  .ha_run.lock  .HA_VERSION  .storage
