Documentation Changelog

I’d love to see and would help support a documentation changelog. Here’s the problem I see. I became very familiar with the modbus documentation about a year ago and built a highly customized config based on it. Today while looking at some breaking changes documentation, I reviewed the docs and found they’d changed considerably over time. This is great of course. Better quality, more depth.
But how do I discover that?

  • Could we publish a change log/release notes that list the changing docs for the period (monthly?) and publish them to the blog similar to a release?

  • Alternate idea - let me subscribe to documentation topics and get alerted when they change.

  • Alternate #2 - publish the docs with an RSS feed that we can subscribe to.

There is a “View Pending Feedback” link at the bottom of each documentation page that will take you to the currently open pull requests for each documentation page. You can click on the Closed link to see past merged changes for that page. e.g. for Modbus:

Thanks. That definitely helps. I’m thinking of something more proactive that pulls me back to the page when something changes
