I have been struggling with this ting for a long while. It used to work then it started getting flaky, now it is pretty much hit and miss. I have read every thread, made every adjustment, different machines, different OS. HA just doesn’t get along with it.
I have reverted to having all my reported that are 8266s go directly to Influx, then read them back into HA. The ones I need to get out of HA. no bueno.
I have had it working for a couple of months. The only problem I have noticed is that Influxdb seems to have a memory leak, so I restart it regularly.
