I use the MyQ cover to manage my garage doors, and it works fine, but I noticed that it seemed to be very “chatty” on the network, generating more than 10,000 messages to myqexternal.myqdevice.com each day. I didn’t see an option for scan_interval for this item.
Does this seem high? Aside from seeming wasteful, my concern is being rate-limited by Liftmaster.
