for people who has this sensor, I’m wondering if it triggers when it detects objects/pets moving.
I’ve recently bought the sonoff SNZB-06P human presence sensor, but it is super sensitive for my use case.

mmWave is the 'human motion" and “human static” sensor. It looks like they have a bonus lux sensor, but for the ‘human detection’ stuff, its juts mmWave. Anything that reflects mmWaves to the sensor and passes the sensors filters will trigger it.
From the screenshot provided, that’s all the info I can come up with.
The sensor sends out a wave and get a part of the signal back, like a radar.
It can not say if it is a human or animal or other stuff that bounces the signal back.
An adult human standing with the front to the sensor will bounce a lot of the signal and a larger dog like a labrador standing with the front towards the sensor will bounce less, but if you make both human and dog turn the side towards the sensor, then dog suddenly has a bigger area and the human a smaller one.
If you need something to distinguish between human and pets or other stuff, then you probably need a camera with object recognition.
