Does Wiser play nicely with other Zigbee devices?

Hi,

I am considering putting in the Drayton/Schneider Wiser system, which I understand operates on the Zigbee protocol.

I’d love opinions on how well it coexists with other Zigbee devices, please. Especially whether non-Wiser range extender/router devices will relay Wiser traffic (and vice-versa - will the Wiser range extender plugs also relay non-Wiser Zigbee traffic?).

I have a moderately large, old house with very thick stone walls and I may need more range extending devices than average. If I put sufficient range extenders in I’d like to use it as the foundation for a more general purpose Zigbee network too.

The answer is that if those are separate meshes then they will ignore each other. They’ll only route traffic for other devices that are part of the same mesh. Each mesh can only have a single coordinator, so I’d expect that you’ve got limited options here.
