im new to all of this and Im planing some stuff for our future house.
We are PC gamers and wear our headsets pretty much all day. Thats why we want to receive a popup or discord call or whatever on our Desktop PCs when someone rings the doorbell. Preverably including camera livestream or snapshot.
Is there a doorbell that can do this?
We really like the Metzler VDM 10 doorbell which is a relabeled Hikvision doorbell. Would it be possible to customize that for our needs? I read something about a Shelly that someone put onto the doorbell button and integrated it into HA that way but theres not much information about people getting desktop popups for doorbells sadly.
