DoorBird Configs

Hi,

I am using doorbird (works a treat) with the native integration, however I also had to add a YAML configuration with the access keys for the DB device. I did this because I was unable to set these values in the integration setup.

I think it’s saying this because it wants me to remove the DoorBird configuration from the YAML file, but without this, HA can’t connect to the DoorBird.

Where can I report this error?

Any ideas?

Thanks.

See below error:

Logger: homeassistant.components.doorbird
Source: helpers/config_validation.py:751
Integration: DoorBird (documentation, issues)
First occurred: 9:57:38 (1 occurrences)
Last logged: 9:57:38

The 'doorbird' option is deprecated, please remove it from your configuration

Looks like Doorbird doesn’t support YAML config anymore. Remove the entry from YAML and add it through the UI. I assume you’ll now be able to set the settings you added manually in the UI, otherwise open an issue on github.

Hi,

This is the issue, the DoorBird token isn’t a configurable option in the DoorBird integration, so without the YAML the integration doesn’t work at all.

Perhaps this is missing?

Then you need to open an issue for this, maybe the devs are not aware of this.
