Hi guys,
I have a Doorbird. Integration seems perfect, everyting working in HA.
I also have a Doorbird Indoor Station.
Whatever I do when I want to add the indoor integration, I cannot configure it. It was auto explored, regardless of the user and password I enter it always says “invalid authentification”.
What I did so far:
Created new user, assigned all permissions (including API rights)
Used Admin user
Used every User and Passwort combination there is in Doorbird
Entered the username and password from the “letter” that came with the indoor station
The main problem here seems to be that doorbird’s API protocol does not expose access to the indoor station, only the outdoor stations itself. My old fashioned doorbird chime recently got discovered by Home Assistant as well, so it’s possible doorbird is changing some things which might allow us to use them after all (it would be cool to use the doorchime for other notification sounds as well!)
Same problem here, I’d like to control the relais of a DoorBird IP I/O Door Controller, but I can’t access the device with any login: “Invalid authentication”, however the I/O controller has been detected automatically. I can control the phyiscal relais of the Doorbird Doorstation after I enabled API access for the user, but this doesn’t seem to work for other Doorbird peripherals, however the LAN API docs describe the function relay to trigger, e.g. physical relay number or relay on an paired IP I/O DoorController. Any news about implementation of this functionality? Thanks!
Hi,(Rooky HA user here - go easy on me)
I tried to add the DoorBird, as you guys have done - but I did it from the automatically found devices. Didn’t work.
Manually added (Add Integration instructions as per here: DoorBird - Home Assistant) my DoorBird gate intercom and it worked 1st time. I can see the motion video’s and control the gate s/ relays etc.
